Small Steps

Live band hip hop with a tight rhythm section and MCs that know how to ride it. The bass is upfront, the drumming loose but locked, and the whole thing has an energy that studio-only groups rarely pull off. They were working in a lane that didn't have many neighbors in 2003. The pacing is good and the record moves fast.
