Organ-led funk with grooves that lean hard and don't let up. Wilson's playing has that bluesy pull that keeps the record from going fully polished, and the rhythm section behind him is locked in from the first track. The title cut in particular is one of those grooves that doesn't wear out. Blue Note era soul-jazz with enough funk in the pocket to sit comfortably in either world.
