Machinedrum and Praveen Sharma made this one together, and the tension between their instincts gives the record an interesting push-pull energy. The drums are precise and often complex, but the melodic and vocal elements soften the edges enough that it never feels cold. Bass is prominent and well-placed throughout. It holds up better than a lot of post-dubstep from the same period.
