Hard, unpolished, and direct in the way only Queens rap can be. Blaq Poet doesn't dress anything up — the beats are heavy, the rhymes are blunt, and there's a real menace running through the whole project. DJ Premier handles production duties and keeps the drums cracking with that trademark scratch-hook construction. This one doesn't ask anything of you except to turn it up.
