Casual's debut hits with that early Hieroglyphics energy — dense rhymes over hard, rolling beats from Del and the crew. The production has a lot of weight to it without getting muddy, and Casual rides the tracks with a confidence that holds up. 'That's How It Is' is a good entry point if you need one. The whole record feels tightly focused for a 1994 debut.
