Pressure Sensitive
Ronnie Laws
Jazz-Funk"Always There" is the reason this record gets dug out of crates — that sax hook got sampled into oblivion for a reason. The rest leans harder into funk than straight jazz, which makes sense given Laws came up through Earth, Wind & Fire's orbit. "Tidal Wave" has the deepest groove on the record, bass way up front. It's a short record but there's not a weak cut on it.
