This one moves like it's got four percussionists arguing in the pocket and somehow they're all right. Ribas came out of samba and Afro-Brazilian percussion circles, and it shows in how loose and physical the whole record feels. Nothing here sits still — horns jab, vocals chant more than sing, drums lead the arrangement instead of following it. Play it loud or don't bother.
