This is a band, not a laptop — horns, live bass, scratching, the whole nine. 'Wall Watching' is the cut that made them a name outside the trip-hop crowd, a horn line dropped over breakbeats like it wandered in from a Blue Note session. Guest rappers show up throughout, but the instrumentals carry it. London's late-90s Ninja Tune scene rarely sounded this muscular.
