Stateless

Big, layered production with a lot of moving parts that somehow never feels cluttered. The vocals carry real weight and the electronic arrangements build slowly, favoring atmosphere over flash. There's a live band underneath everything — actual drums, actual bass — and it keeps the record from floating away into pure texture. 'Ariel' is a good entry point if you want a sense of what you're getting into.
