Big Moe could sing and rap and he put both to work on this debut. The production is that thick Houston sound — slowed tempos, heavy bass, chopped samples that roll instead of bounce. There's a lot of melody in the rap here, which was part of what made the Houston scene distinct from everything else happening in 2000. Put it on slow and let it do what it does.
