Look What You Did to Me

Z-Ro's voice does most of the work here — thick, melodic, and carrying real weight even when the subject matter is bleak. The Houston production keeps things slow and deliberate, with synth bass and drum patterns that lean hard into the city's sound. There's a rawness to the recording that suits the material; it doesn't feel cleaned up or softened. One of the better documents of what Southern rap sounded like in the early 2000s before the mainstream caught up.
