They Say I'm Different
Betty Davis
FunkBetty Davis screaming over a band that sounds like it's about to fall apart and loving every second of it. They Say I'm Different is the title track and the thesis statement both — nasty guitar, no apologies. He Was a Big Freak is funnier and filthier than almost anything else in funk from this era. Git in There is where the band locks in hardest; don't sleep on it.
