Soup

Bola builds tracks out of tiny rhythmic cells that shift and recombine without ever settling into a straight loop. The textures are cold and metallic, but there's a strange melodic warmth underneath if you sit with it. Drums skitter and double back in ways that keep the ear guessing. It's IDM that rewards patience more than immediate hooks.
