Watts Happening

This one moves with an easy, sunlit bounce, built on live-feeling keys and drums that never overplay their hand. Watts raps and produces with the same laid-back confidence, so nothing here feels rushed. The horns and basslines give it a soul-band warmth even when the beats are clearly programmed. It's a good record for driving with the windows down.
