808s & Dark Grapes II

Squadda B and Mondre M.A.N. were early in the cloud rap wave and this tape captures them at a sharp point. The production is hazy and minimal — 808s up front, synths floating, everything a little bleary. The rapping sits inside the beats rather than on top of them, which gives the whole thing its particular texture. Long and loose but it rewards patience.
