Underground Hip HopZumbi's rhymes are dense but never showy, stacking internal patterns over Amp Live's boards without ever feeling crowded. "Inner Light" is the one that shows what this duo does best — spacey synths, a bassline that just sits, and a hook that sneaks up on you. It's underground Bay Area rap that didn't need a single to be good. Side two drags a touch, but the atmosphere carries it through.
