West Coast Hip Hop"Elevation (25th Century)" is the reason anyone still spins this — that spaced-out sample chops up like a cartoon, and the whole crew rides it loose and unbothered. The rest of the record leans hard into that same Bay Area boom-bap swing, drums thick, tempos unrushed. It got buried under the mid-90s East Coast wave, which is a shame — this is Oakland rap that actually sounds like Oakland. Skip nothing, but that one track is the draw.
