Eiht's delivery is one of the most recognizable voices in West Coast rap and this late-90s record doesn't dilute it. The production is darker and more stripped down than the gangsta era peak he came up in, which suits the material. It doesn't get as much attention as his Compton's Most Wanted catalog, but the consistency here is real. The drums hit hard and the sequencing keeps things tense from start to finish.
