Garcia's tenor is huge and unhurried on the title track, riding a rhythm section that pulls from dub and Afrobeat without ever forcing it. "Pace" is the one that moves — a groove that just keeps opening up instead of resolving. This is a saxophone record first, and she's got the tone to carry that weight.
