Dust Yourself Off

Pleasure could handle both the funk and the soul side of things and this album doesn't make them choose. The horns are forward in the mix, the bass is elastic, and the drumming keeps just enough of a loose feel that it doesn't turn into wallpaper. 'Glide' is the one that gets looped most, but the back half of this record holds its own. Solid throughout.
