East Coast Hip HopSadat X stepping out from Brand Nubian and the beats here are murky, off-kilter, very mid-90s Bronx. "Dat Ain't Bout Nothin'" and "Wild Cowboys" hit the hardest, that loose, almost-drunk flow riding drums that don't sound quantized to death. It's not as polished as his group work and that's the appeal — rawer, weirder, more personal.
