Puba left Brand Nubian and came back sounding even more relaxed, like he's got nowhere to be. The pimp-talk is corny in spots but the pocket never slips — check how he rides the horn stab on "Check tha Resume" without ever rushing it. Not as tight as Masters of Chill, but the grooves are just as thick. Skip the skits, keep everything else.
