Thackray plays trumpet, sings, produces, arranges — this is a one-woman scene report on London jazz circa 2021. "Golden Green" is the track that carries it, all rubbery bass and horn stabs that feel more like a dance record than a jazz one. It gets a little dense in the back half, but the energy never drops. Play it loud, not as background music.
