German nu jazz that actually swings instead of just sampling the idea of swing. Live drums, live Rhodes, live bass — this trio played it for real instead of chopping loops, and you can hear the difference in how the pocket breathes. "Broken Buddha" is the standout, all clipped guitar and rolling toms. Skip nothing, but don't expect fireworks — this one rewards patience more than hooks.
