Machine Dreams

Yukimi Nagano's voice does something different on every track here — cool and detached on some, cracked open on others. "Feather" is the one people know, but "Come Home" is where the production really shows its teeth, all clipped synths and space. This is electronic soul before that tag got overused, built more on mood and texture than hooks. Patchy in spots, but the highs are genuinely strange and good.
